Lets implement Tic Tac Toe with ARCore Cloud Anchors using the latest ARCore SDK as well as how to enable multiplayer functionality using Photon. ►► Cloud Anchors Part 2 Here: http://bit.ly/tictactoePatreonCloudAnchorsPart2 ►FREE AR Business Card Crash Course: http://augmentedstartups.info/AR-business-card-Free-course-sp ⭐Get Code Here - https://augmentedstartups.info/ARCore-Course 5 Steps to Multiplayer AR using Cloud Anchors using ARCore - Tutorial Part 1 Now there’s a few things I want to clarify. While I was experimenting with Cloud anchors. First of all, you’d expect ARCore’s cloud anchors to give you the full multiplayer experience. Meaning that once you hosted your cloud anchor, it would be easy to update the anchors and have them continuously resolve just like normal multiplayer games. So cloud anchors are great for instantiating a game object once off, like maybe an AR sculpture or 3D map on multiple devices, that will work just fine. However if you want to have real time gaming in AR, then cloud anchors can be a bit challenging to get right, especially with the limited documentation, examples and community support. If you think about it cloud anchors is relatively new. But hey it could also be that I wasn’t doing something right, so you are welcome to experiment with cloud anchors after I’ve shown you how to get it up and running. If you are able to streamline the multiplayer process, then by all means, contact me or share your code via GitHub. Now for the tic tac toe game otherwise known as ex and ohs. I have used Photon which enables easy to use networking within Unity. So they offer services such real-time cloud, cross platform multiplayer and easy to use match-making API. Now when I tell you that this process is simple, I mean it is really simple for the end user to start a multiplayer session. Okay so in this video you are going first learn how get the Cloud Anchors working and in the second part of the lecture you are going to learn how to implement exs and ohs in a multiplayer Augmented Reality Session using Photon Engine.
